Kinda sounds harsh doesn’t it?
Sorry I had to say it but trust me often we need a boot up the backside to see what we have around us, the beautiful or the not so beautiful is what WE created. And what we are doing now is either creating more of the same or a different reality.
As adults there are no accidents or mistakes in life only consequences from our decision making.
I am you and you are me so we are all in this melting pot together, connected to the quantum field – this vortex of energy that surrounds us. So what we do and feel and think affects everyone around us and in the field.
So the picture of your life is drawn by you. You are not a victim, so don’t go around blaming your X or your Auntie Dot or your boss. Only you hold the key to your front door and what’s allowed inside
This was a powerful realisation for me over two years ago that if I wanted anything to change, ANYTHING then it was up to me.
Yes it was a ‘throw a bucket of water over me moment’ and take a good long look at everything
So I set out to change a few things. I started off with writing my life stories and then a book. This was me taking a good long look at the mirror of my life.
I recognised how much I had loved being a traveller, a free spirit, being able to go where ever I wanted and explore what ever took my fancy.
All through choices, first as an air hostess travelling the world and next as an expat wife a ‘trailing spouse’ or now called a ‘supporting partner;’ the new modern term for those women who follow behind their husband’s careers often with kids and their whole life in tow. Believe me the container of stuff got bigger with each move.
But I wanted more. MUCH more.
I wanted independence, financial freedom of my own and I wanted other women to empower themselves to have everything as well. I was on fire and full of determination to find a way. But first I spent quite a bit of time in the murk wearing goggles that were fogged up and a feeling of being lost in the dark.
But after hours of writing in splendid isolation the cavalry arrived and an opportunity knocked. A friend introduced me to an epic business and a community that is now my family and a vibe and energy that just puts a zing in my step every day.
